Access to the College During the Christmas Break
Access to College facilities during the Christmas break will be limited to staff/students conducting College-related business, provided such access has been approved in advance by the staff/student's appropriate Dean or Director. Names of those requiring access should be forwarded to the Security Control Centre, securitycontrolcntr@fanshawec.ca, by Friday, December 17, 2010.
As a reminder, most retail, food and other College services will be closed during the Christmas Break. Please check MyFanshawe for service hour adjustments during the Christmas inter-term period. In an effort to reduce costs, the College's facilities environmental systems (heating, cooling, etc.) will be operating at unoccupied set-points, i.e. lower temperatures, etc., and staff/students permitted to access Campus facilities are reminded to dress appropriately.
Fitness 101 will maintain holiday hours over the break. Please refer to MyFanshawe for the Fitness 101 schedule.
Should you have any questions, please call Jennifer Clements, Facilities Management, 519-452-4430 ext. 4342.
Staff/students are encouraged to register for the Work Alone Program and to utilize its services when working alone on Campus. We strongly recommend that those granted permission to work during the Christmas Break register for this program. For more information and to register, please call the Security Control Centre at 519-452-4400.
