College Closed on July 2, 2010

This decision has been made as an opportunity to thank you for your hard work on behalf of students this past year. In particular, I appreciate the concerted effort made by many staff members to handle the Government's new Second Career Program. This program was announced very late and required considerably altered processes and delivery models, which did result in Fanshawe serving a very significant number of these students. As well, we should celebrate Fanshawe's all time high graduation rate of 68.5% achieved last year. The dedicated work of many to further our student success strategy has really been paying off.

Following the College-wide closure on July 1 and 2, the Office of the Registrar will re-open on Saturday, July 3, 2010 for extended hours from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

New Parking Rates for Fall

While Fanshawe's rates have remained constant for several years, inflation has increased the cost of operational expenses. To help offset these costs, and as part of the College's ongoing commitment to provide quality parking services, parking rates will go up for Assigned Reserved, Reserved and Coin lots as well as metered spaces.
