College Colleagues Featured on MyFanshawe

October 5, 2009

Do you know who in the College speaks another language? Who has a home-based business on the side? Who has travelled to other countries and explored other cultures?

Many of us know surprisingly little about the people we work with each day. The social butterfly in your office may actually be quite a homebody when not at work, and the quiet person in the back may actually volunteer with multiple charities after hours. Perhaps your co-workers enjoy nature trails, or sports, or playing the guitar. Almost all of us have a funny story or a powerful memory that we would love to share, if given the right opportunity. (Christine Budden, right, was one of the first "College Colleagues" to be featured on MyFanshawe. Christine is Assistant to the Chair in the School of Contemporary Media.)

Now there is an opportunity to share anecdotes and learn more about your colleagues! Every day, the front page of the MyFanshawe portal will feature a short, light-hearted profile of a different Fanshawe College employee. Log in to find out who does what, see what makes these individuals unique, and discover the similarities we all share.

If you're interested in participating, simply send an email to Dayan Boyce at dboyce@fanshawec.ca or complete the attached sheet and return it by interoffice mail to room E1003, London campus. You could soon be one of the next faces of the new MyFanshawe portal!
