Cynthia Dale Leads Theatre Masterclass

Canadian performer Cynthia Dale led a masterclass with Fanshawe Theatre Arts students on Tuesday, April 7, 2009. The screen and stage actor spent three hours with the 26 second-year students observing and discussing their monologue work, and giving them feedback and information on the acting industry today.

She was impressed by the courage shown by the students in their work and generous with her advice to these young actors. Students found it helpful to hear their own understanding and learning reinforced by someone with such an established and successful career.

Dale has appeared in several productions at the Stratford Festival and in stage productions in New York and Toronto. She has also appeared in many films and TV series, including CBC's Street Legal.
