Dan Falk, In Search of Time
The Fanshawe College Letters and Arts Society is proud to host
award-winning science writer and journalist Dan Falk on
Thursday, April 8, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in Room D1060, London Campus.
Dan is a regular contributor to the CBC radio program Quirks and Quarks as well as The Discovery Channel.
His awards include the American Institute of Physics' 1999 Science Writing Award in Physics and Astronomy for his radio documentary From Empedocles to Einstein. His book Universe on a T-Shirt: The Quest for the Theory of Everything won the 2002 Canadian Science Writers' Association Science in Society Journalism Award.
Falk's most recent book and the
subject of his talk is entitled In Search of Time: Journeys along a Curious
Dimension. Dan Falk will bring yet another "dimension" to our Literary Series
at Fanshawe College.
Books will be available soon in the College bookstore. Be sure to pick up your copy in time for the reading and book signing to follow!
