presentations
on Thursday, January 27, 2011, from 4:00 to 7:00 pm in R1020,
London Campus.
Programs involved are:
Architectural Technology, Geographic Information Systems, Interior Decorating, Interior
Design and Landscape Design.
Programs have worked collaboratively
in partnership
with Habitat for Humanity to create an innovative solution for a site and home
design for a family in need of assistance. Students began work on the project in early
November. Presentations will be made to a panel of Habitat for Humanity organizers,
City of London planners, a local contractor, College staff and academic advisors. For

DocFest - Showcasing short documentaries
The Advanced Filmmaking program at Fanshawe College will hold its first annual
Documentary Festival on Friday, January 28, 2011. The graduate students have spent
months pitching, producing and editing these diverse and well-rounded documentaries. The
films range from the growing popularity of tattooing and piercing, to finding true love,
to helping a grandmother become computer-savvy. Some topics are charming, creative and
humorous, while others are honest, touching and insightful. The screening will take place
in Fanshawe's new high definition theatre (room D1060, London Campus)
at 7:00 p.m. Admission is

Women's Self-Defence Classes
Women's Campus Safety Services and Fanshawe Campus Security Services offer

free self-defence class to female staff. The course will include
lectures, discussions and self-defence techniques. Suitable for all ages and
