Fanshawe College to Kick off United Way Campaign

Fanshawe College will officially kick off the 2009 United Way Campaign at the London Campus with another exciting Chili Cook-Off competition! Come out and join us on Tuesday, October 27, 2009, between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. Buy your chili lunch from the Fanshawe Hospitality students, Chartwells or the Fanshawe Student Union and decide for yourself who makes the best chilli!

This year lunch will be served in four locations - 'A' Building (under the umbrellas), James A. Colvin Atrium ('B' Building), 'H' Café and the Fanshawe Student Union (outside Oasis).

London celebrities Nick Paparella from A London and 2009 National Canadian Chili Champion Chef and Londoner, Mike Callaghan will team up with other guest judges to ultimately decide who gets the trophy this year!

Join us in the Atrium in 'B' building between noon and 1:00 p.m. to witness the spicy competition as the judges decide, "Who does make the best darn chili on campus?"

For just $5.00 per staff member and $3.00 per student, you'll receive a bowl of chili, bun, cold drink and dessert.

The unique musical group "Lady o' Lakes" (aka The Wandering Goose who performed here last year!) will entertain guests in the Atrium between 11:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m.
