Fashion Design Faculty and Students Donate Time and Expertise

On Thursday, September 8, 2009, Fashion Design students and their faculty donated their time and expertise in support of F.A.C.E.I.T. (Focused Anxiety-reducing Community-based Empowering Individualized Teaching). This non-profit organization supports women with breast cancer. The students and staff spent time laying up, cutting and bundling approximately 85 cozy wraps. These garments, along with a knit top are given to women to wear in the first weeks after surgery.
