Men's Basketball Team in CCAA Championship

The Fanshawe men's basketball team will play in the Canadian Colleges Athletic Association championship at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology from March 18 to 20, 2010.

Although the Falcons fell 59-48 to Ontario champions Humber Hawks in the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association final on Saturday, March 6, a selection committee picked the Falcons to play in the eight-team national championship tournament because of their 1-2 record against Humber.

As the eighth seed, Fanshawe will play the No. 1 seed University of Northern British Columbia (UNBC) in their first game. Go Falcons!
