New Faculty Members in Business & Management
Fanshawe is pleased to announce the hiring of 10 full-time faculty members who will be joining the School of Business & Management on August 11, 2008.
Auger offers diverse experience as Chief Financial Officer/Controller for Diamond Aircraft, MBC Solutions, L.H. Gray & Son and Amway Canada. Auger has an HBA from the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business and is a long-time chartered accountant. He has been an invaluable member of the accounting team as partial load instructor for the past three years.
Bishop has 30 years of industry experience with Allstate Insurance, the University of Toronto, London Health Sciences and Prism Management Services. He is a graduate of the Business program at Centennial College and holds C.P.P., CPPO and P.Log certifications. Bishop has been teaching in the School of Business for five years, also acting as interim coordinator of the Purchasing program for the past two years.
Professor, Business and Economics
Katsademas brings 20+ years of experience in sales, marketing, management, operations and international trade in addition to entrepreneurship, entrepreneur coaching and Toastmasters experience to his students. He holds a Bachelor of Science and Master's of Science in Mathematics from Concordia University as well as an MBA from the University of Western Ontario's Richard Ivey School of Business. Katsademas has taught at Fanshawe for seven years.
Litwin has 17 years of senior marketing experience with Vas-Cath Incorporated, Baxter Corporation, Fuji Photo Film, 3M Canada and Coherent-AMT. She graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours degree in Business Administration and Marketing. She has been teaching in Fanshawe's School of Business and School of Media and Design, providing excellent guidance and innovation in direct marketing and small business courses.
Professor, Financial Planning
Lochead offers over 20 years of experience in financial planning with institutions such as Merrill Lynch, Canada Trust, MD Management and CIBC Wood Gundy. She has a Bachelor of Administration in Statistics from the University of Western Ontario and holds designations in CFP, CIM, F.C.S.I and CH.P Wealth Strategist. She is a member of the Financial Planners Standards Council and fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute. Lochead taught financial planning at Fanshawe for the last year.
Professor, Marketing and General Business
Payne is an experienced marketing and executive manager who has taught Fanshawe's International Marketing, Small Business and Business to Business Marketing courses since 2006. She was one of two inaugural facilitators for the Community Consultants project and was team lead and main faculty liaison for the TD Canada Trust Business Challenge that took place last winter. Prior to her work at Fanshawe, Payne was the Director of International Sales and Marketing for Raytheon Systems Canada Ltd. She has over 20 years of experience in marketing, sales, operations and small business management.
Rovers has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience with J Michaels, Braemar, Jacob, The Toni Group, Sally Fourmy & Associates and Phoenix Interactive Design. She holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Guelph and a diploma in Business Administration Accounting from Northern College. Rovers has been teaching partial load at Fanshawe over the past year and is a committed and enthusiastic marketing professor.
Professor, Marketing and Economics
Tucker holds a BA in Economics from the University of Western Ontario and a Master's in Economics from the University of New Brunswick. He has been teaching at Fanshawe for the past five years and brings over 20 years of senior business experience in financial services, product management and marketing with Nordex Research, Avco Financial Services, First Canadian Title and MWT Consulting to his students. Tucker has been actively involved with OCMC and is acting as co-facilitator of the Community Consultants in the fall.
Professor, Business Foundations
Wang has been a professor for over 20 years at Jilin Normal University in Siping, China; Northeast University in Quinhuangdoa, Hebei, China; Appalachian State University in North Carolina and the New Oriental College of Applied English in Beijing, China. He has also been Chair of the academic division for the Environmental Management College in Hebei, China. Wang holds a BA from Jilin Normal University in Siping, China as well as an M.Ed. from La Trobe University in Melbourne, Australia. Most recently, Wang has acted as Asian Specialist in the International Office at Fanshawe College.
Professor, Human Resources
White has been working in Human Resources for the past 20 years in institutions such as Money Mart Financial Services, Creditel of Canada, DMS Market Services, Cogeco Cable, Look Communications and the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation. She has a BA from the University of Western Ontario, a certificate in Human Resource Management from Humber College and the CHRP designation. Previously, White has been a faculty member at Humber College and with the Canadian Management Centre.
