Nursing Students Raise Funds for Sunshine Foundation

June 13, 2008
Students of Fanshawe's Collaborative Nursing program used a night out to raise money for a great cause.

The Ray of Sun pub night was recently hosted by students at the Out Back Shack in support of The Sunshine Foundation: Dreams for Kids, a national charity based in London. The organization helps physically disabled children and those who suffer from life-threatening illnesses.  It realizes the dreams of children aged 3 to 18 who may never have pause from the daily reality of medical challenges and other such circumstances. It has been able to fulfill over 6,400 wishes since its establishment in 1987.
