Running for the Cure ... With a Pink Mohawk?
Jim Hollister may end up regretting the day he challenged his two children to raise money in the Run for the Cure event.
The Fanshawe special constable, and veteran of the breast cancer fundraising event, told kids Dylan and Natalie that if they could each raise $100 for the event, he would not only run with them, but he would shave his hair into a mohawk and dye it pink for the event.
Determined to meet the challenge, both Dylan and Natalie have registered as participants. Anyone can donate money to their cause via CIBC's Run for the Cure event website. At time of writing, Dylan has already exceeded the $100 goal and Natalie is well on her way to meeting it.
