Students Eligible for Professional Sales Certificate

October 31, 2008
Fanshawe College Business and Management students who complete the required courses will be eligible to receive the Professional Sales Certificate issued by the Canadian Professional Sales Association (CPSA).

Business Marketing co-ordinator Scott Hubert said there were no curriculum or degree audit changes required to facilitate the arrangement between the College and the CPSA. "This is added value for our students."

Five Business Marketing Program (BMK) courses and one Business Administration - Marketing program (BAM) course have to be completed for students to be eligible for the designation. Once the course work is done, students need to complete the CPSA application and submit it along with their transcript.

The required courses are: Selling Fundamentals, Sales Management (BAM), Professional Communication or Communication for Business Professionals, Marketing Principles 1, Marketing Presentations, Small Business Management or Organizational Behaviour.
