Vista and Office 2007

Organizational Development & Learning has released the August computer training schedule (PDF*) which includes sessions on Vista, Office 2007, Access 2007 and the new high-tech classroom podium. In support of the deployment of Vista and Office 2007 the August workshop listing offers a number of two-hour Introductory sessions on Vista and Office 2007 (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook). Staff members who are unable to attend departmental training sessions on Vista and Office might wish to consider attending the two-hour sessions.

Access 2007 Training

During the month of August, we will be offering training on Microsoft Access 2007. If you are a regular Access user, this is one workshop that you don't want to miss. Come on out and get a first hand look at the new interface and features available in Access. Please register early as space is limited.

Windows Vista

Tapping into Vista's new search features
For those of you wishing to learn more about Vista's new file search capabilities, you might want to put this session on your calendar. With a bit of practice you can be finding files and starting programs in seconds. It's fast and easy! Come on out and learn how to put this powerful new feature to work for you!

In the Classroom - High-tech podium

We are once again offering training on the new high-tech classroom podium. If you are new to the college or would like a quick refresher on how to use the equipment then this is the workshop for you! This one-hour workshop will walk you through the basics of using the new high-tech classroom podium

Open Lab Time for Vista and Office 2007

Tues, Wed, Thurs and Fri from 12 noon to 1pm in Room K1019
In support of the deployment of Windows Vista and Office 2007, employees looking for some hands-on time to get acquainted with Windows Vista and Office 2007 can drop into room K1019 Tuesday through Friday from 12 noon to 1pm during the month of August. Space is limited and is on a first-come first-served basis.
