Woodstock, Simcoe Campuses Win Local Support
The Fanshawe College Foundation is pleased to announce that on March 18, 2010, Woodstock City Council made a leadership pledge of $1 million towards a major expansion planned for the Fanshawe College Campus in Woodstock. Earlier that month, Woodstock City Council agreed to Fanshawe's request for an in-kind gift of the land and building situated at the College's Finkle Street site. The announcement followed presentations that were made to Woodstock City Council by Dr. Howard Rundle and Donna Derer, Campus Chair, with several other College and Foundation representatives in attendance.

The Fanshawe College Foundation is also pleased to announce that on February 4, 2010, Norfolk County Council confirmed it was making a grant of $150,000 in support of the James N. Allan Campus Capital Campaign. The announcement followed presentations made to County Council by Dr. Howard Rundle, Les Anderson, Board Governor, and Donna Gates, Campus Chair on September 15, 2009 and January 19, 2010, with Larry Kinlin, Foundation Chair, Catherine Finlayson, Foundation Executive Director and Mark Pfaff, Development Office Administrator, in attendance.
