Expert Panel Review Process
This is a peer review process conducted by an Expert Panel. The panel will review the Multi-Site application and if needed, work with the researcher to achieve an ethically acceptable application. The researcher will be given a ‘Letter of Recommendation’ for approval. The researcher will send the ethically sound application and the recommendation letter to each institution involved in their research. Each REB Board continues to be responsible for research conducted under its auspices.
Ontario Community College Multi-Site Application Form Process
Researchers can complete and submit the Ontario Community College Multi-Site application form directly to any of the colleges’ ethics board listed below without peer review.
Almost all colleges have agreed to accept the Ontario Community College Multi-Site application form; however, it is the researcher’s responsibility to contact the Research Ethics Board Co-ordinator at each college to check site-specific requirements and to determine where and how this form is submitted.
