Innovative Packaging for a Sustainable Agri-Food Industry
The Packaging Advancement Centre (PAC), a partnership with The Grove at Western Fair District, is a FedDev-funded agri-business accelerator and development centre, is intended to provide safe, sustainable, and efficient packaging solutions for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) as a supplement to the agri-food research undertaken at Fanshawe. The PAC, our newest research centre, will feature a uni-filling line (including cap sealer, conveyor belt, label applicator, and capper), a flow wrap line with horizontal flow wrapping and labelling, and a boxing/sealing line with a pack and seal system, sleeve wrapper, and case taper.
