Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Fanshawe College has made the difficult decision to defer spring 2021 convocation ceremonies at its London Campus. This decision was made based on current public health restrictions on large indoor gatherings.
Fanshawe congratulates each graduating student who has worked hard to complete their studies, making sacrifices and learning different skills during these difficult times. Many graduates have completed their program without stepping foot on campus for the duration of their program. To honour their achievements, the College will launch a virtual graduation celebration webpage the week of June 7, 2021.
“These students will graduate under extraordinary circumstances, having persevered to complete their program during a world-wide pandemic,” says Michele Beaudoin, vice-president, Student Services. “The unique skills they’ve gained during this time will be invaluable as they begin their working career. We are incredibly proud of each graduate and look forward to celebrating their achievements when the threat of the pandemic has subsided.”
This spring, more than 8,200 graduates will be welcomed into the Fanshawe family of more than 200,000 alumni who are living and working around the world.
