About Digital Health Canada
Fanshawe’s Health Systems Management program is a Continuing Education Provider partner with Digital Health Canada.
Digital Health Canada Continuing Education Providers (CEPs) have met high standards for curriculum quality and value and are recognized as official sources of Continuing Education (CE) hours to be used towards Certified Professional in Healthcare Information and Management Systems – Canada (CPHIMS-CA) credential renewal (CPHIMS-CA signifies that a professional has the skills, knowledge and abilities to perform safely and effectively in a broad range of practice settings).
Learners interested in Fanshawe College’s Health System Management program via Digital Health Canada, have some options available for consideration:
- As Digital Health Canada members, you can take any of the courses within the program and earn continuing education (CE) hours towards your credential renewal.
- You can take all the courses within the program earning continuing education hours plus navigate through all required courses and earn a post-graduate certificate upon successful completion of all required courses.
- Upon completion of all required courses of Health Systems Management, you may choose to earn your CHIM designation from Canadian College of Health Information Management/Canadian Health Information Management Association with the sitting and success of the national examination.
