Welcome

We are pleased that you have selected Fanshawe College’s General Arts and Science program. Our MATH placement assessment is important to your success. Doing your best will ensure proper assessment of your math skills to help you succeed in college and your future course work.

Important  information

This assessment will not affect your acceptance into the program. The earlier you write the assessment, the faster we can process your results.
There are 3 levels of math in the General Arts and Science program.
- MATH-3068 Theory to Practice is a beginner level course and is a pre-requisite for MATH-3069.

- MATH-3069 College Qualifying Math is a 12C math equivalent course and is a pre-requisite to MATH-3079/3080.

- MATH-3079 Calculus and Vectors is a 12U Calculus and Vectors equivalent math course.

- MATH-3080 Advanced Functions is a 12U Advanced Functions equivalent math course.

What is the MATH Placement Assessment?

The evaluation of these assessment results allows us to assess your current mathematics skills and place you in the appropriate course. This only applies to students who are taking MATH as part of their program.

Where can I write?

The math assessment will be on www.fanshaweonline.ca. Contact Kate Traill ctraill@fanshawec.ca to register for the assessment.  Please ensure that you have a secure and stable internet connect before taking the assessment.
