Fanshawe students and employees along with first responders will participate in a training exercise on the airfield outside the College’s Aviation Centre at the London International Airport on Thursday, May 4, 2023, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The event is primarily an evaluation of Fanshawe’s Advanced Care Paramedic students.
There will be visible and audible effects and emergency response vehicles on site. Both the College and London International Airport would like the community to be aware of the exercise to avoid members of the public being concerned about an actual event at the airport.
There will be no opportunity for media to engage with the exercise. Access to the area will be restricted to authorized personnel only. No impact on regular airport operations is anticipated.
