Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Fanshawe College has made the difficult decision to postpone spring convocation ceremonies. Originally scheduled to take place from June 9 to 11, all ceremonies will now take place in the fall of 2020.
The decision to postpone convocation was made with guidance from public health authorities and with the best interests of our communities in mind. Fanshawe congratulates these graduating students who have worked hard to complete their studies, making sacrifices and learning different skills as the College moved to an online learning format.
“We know this will be a disappointment to our graduating students,” says Michele Beaudoin, vice president, Student Services. “They have persevered through a very difficult time to complete their studies under extraordinary circumstances and we are extremely proud of their accomplishments.”
The College looks forward to welcoming our newest graduates into our family of more than 200,000 alumni who are living and working around the world when the threat of the pandemic has subsided.
