Fanshawe College's Unbound Fashion Show, showcasing 33 emerging designers, debuts on April 12, 2025.
This year, witness the SHIFT: a fusion of Sustainability, Heritage, Inclusivity, Fashion, and Technology, to redefine the future of the fashion industry.
The show champions the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a specific focus on SDG 4 (Quality Education) and SDG 12 (Sustainable Consumption and Production). This event highlights the power of collaboration, blending community support with contributions from various college programs.
Experience an immersive evening featuring breathtaking runway presentations, live music, a catered reception, champagne carpet photo opportunities and the chance to connect with rising design talent. Join us and be part of the SHIFT.
"Unbound stands as a testament to the powerful collaboration of community, industry experts, and aspiring students,” said Leigh-Ann Waller, fashion design coordinator and Unbound creative director. “With the collective efforts of 33 fashion design students, 16 Fanshawe College programs and several industry sponsors, Unbound promises to be an unparalleled success and this year’s must-attend event."
The emcee for the Unbound 2025 is Myles Sexton, a TV personality, stylist, makeup artist, HIV/AIDS and sobriety activist, who’s based in Toronto. In 2022, Myles was honoured with the Digital Fashion Creator Award by the Canadian Arts and Fashion Awards. Their editorial work has been featured in Vogue Italia, Elle, The New York Times, and Fashion Magazine.
