Fanshawe is launching a Cannabis Applied Science program that will allow graduates to apply their scientific knowledge and skills to meet the needs of the emerging cannabis industry.
The one-year graduate certificate program begins in the fall of 2020 and prepares students to analyze cannabis for quality, safety and stability, and to contribute to the research and development of new cannabis products.

"Our science-based program will provide students with hands-on experience working in cutting-edge labs learning about cannabis regulatory knowledge that will meet industry requirements," says Lindsay Engel, associate dean for the School of Applied Science and Technology.
