Now is a great time to consider a skilled trades career

One of the best ways into a career in the trades is through pre-apprenticeship training. These free training programs offer both practical and technical training and provide participants with the skills required to begin their apprenticeship journey. Pre-apprenticeship programs include academic upgrading, safety training, trade-readiness instruction, job development coaching, essential workplace skills training as well as paid work placements. Successful participants receive Level 1 apprenticeship certification upon completion of their program.

These programs are funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training and Skills Development and are offered at no cost to qualifying participants.

Employers interested in hosting a placement for any of the programs below can email cts@fanshawec.ca.
