Financial Management in Retirement Mgmt

In this course, students will explore the many facets of financial management that department managers and administrators are required to know to manage a retirement community facility responsibly and effectively, with an awareness of how the financial decisions that are made impact the operations of the facility and experiences of the residents. Topics will include basic accounting principles, income statements, balance sheets and general ledgers. You will have the opportunity to review and analyze financial statements and practice building and modifying budgets to meet operational needs. This course is offered asynchronous online, through OntarioLearn.
