Health & Transitions 2
This course has a focus on normal developmental transitions, chronic pain, loss, grief, end of life care, and holistic care. Specific Standards of Practice from the College of Nurses (Medications, Consent, Legal/Ethical, Quality Assurance) are introduced and factors that affect the quality of work life are addressed. The impact of chronic illnesses/disabilities throughout the life span will be discussed as well as research as it applies throughout the life span.
