Nutrition for Fitness & Health Promotion

This course serves as an introduction to human nutrition. A review of basic dietary recommendations and needs is followed by applied topics in nutrition. Topics also include the impact of age, illness, physical activity and social attitudes on food and eating behaviours. Issues including food supply, safety and counseling are also discussed.
