Your Learning Experience
The technology within automobiles is changing every year. Vehicles are technological marvels that use computers to make them run properly and smoothly. These vehicles need highly trained mechanics with specialized skills to keep people safe on the road. The Automotive Service Technician (Day Release) will help you gain these specialized skills to drive your career forward.
Students will learn to diagnose, repair and maintain engines and many electrical and electronic systems in cars, trucks and buses. Additionally, students have the opportunity to specialize in engines and fuel systems, electrical and electronic systems, suspension or brakes. The apprenticeship component of the program allows students to test their skills in the real world, on real vehicles.
