Concurrent Disorders in Mental Health

This course prepares students to understand the complexity of mental health disorders and substance use, and the interactional relationships between them. Students will understand concurrent disorders and their impact on individuals and families. They will also gain an understanding of treatment modalities utilized in treating concurrent disorders. Students will also develop an understanding of substance abuse, mental illness, and the use of drugs.
