Overview

HTML Intermediate

This course is a second course in web page and web site development. It covers advanced topics including Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) levels 1 and 2, with an overview of JavaScript and the W3C DOM. The course teaches about web browser detection, object positioning, browser events, modifying content and style dynamically, designing with DHTML and touches on the emerging standards for Web developers. Popular interface enhancements such as drop down menus, collapsible menus, rollovers and dynamic clipping will also be explored. This course is offered through OntarioLearn by the host college, Durham college.
