Revit for Design - Level 2 - Micro-credential
Revit is a powerful software program that has revolutionized the way designers document and collaborate on building projects. Developed by Autodesk, Revit allows the designer to create detailed building designs, visualize the project in 3D, and produce detailed documentation and construction drawings. Revit for Design Level 2: Learners will generate photo realistic renderings by adding furniture and fixtures to generate 3D perspective views of the 3D spaces generated. Learning Outcomes: 1. Insert existing furniture and fixtures from the Revit folders 2. Create custom 3D components 3. Apply Revit materials as well as custom materials to all objects and surfaces 4. Generate 3D perspective views 5. Add light sources, both natural and artificial 6. Add photo realistic components such as people 7. Generate a photo realistic rendering complete with shade and shadow at the proper resolution 8. Use the cloud service to generate the renderings 9. Render floorplans by adding colour schemes and legends 10. Generate a presentation drawing package Total course hours - 20
