This course introduces students to the principlesthat are essential to an understanding ofcontemporary macroeconomics issues. Emphasis isplaced on the use of economic models to analyzeeconomic developments accurately and objectively.Students examine unemployment, inflation, andeconomic growth; as well, they evaluategovernment's use of fiscal and monetary policy todeal with these problems.
