Overview

Practicum 1 TESL

This practicum involves 10 hours of classroom instruction and 20 hours of other instructional learning in the ESL classroom. It gives students the opportunity to observe different ESL classes and levels, ESL classroom dynamics, a variety of learning and instructional styles and techniques, and practical teaching skills such as classroom management, instructional methods and strategies, time/content/material management, and instructional language. Placement hours and course assignments must be completed within the term of registration.
