Overview
Learning Disabilities & Adult Literacy
You will learn to identify characteristics of adults with learning disabilities, including learning strengths and challenges. Students will learn to observe and recognize possible learning disabilities during the assessment process to plan effective instructional strategies. You will also learn strategies to support the development of self-direction skills and independence in the adult literacy learner. This course is offered through OntarioLearn by the host college, Conestoga college.
