The April Paton Bursary is available to full-time students who self-identify as a woman and/or gender-diverse person*, enrolling in the first term of the Developmental Services Worker program at the London Campus only.

Recipients may receive funding for the total cost of tuition and program fees per academic term for the duration of their program (up to a maximum of four levels).

2 bursaries are available for the 2025/26 academic year.

Eligibility

Applicants must:

  • be a Canadian Citizen, permanent resident or protected person/refugee;
  • be enrolling* full time in the first term of the Developmental Services Worker program at the London Campus starting in Fall 2025.
  • self-identify as a woman and/or gender-diverse person**;
  • demonstrate financial need as determined by a budget submission

Renewal criteria: To keep their bursary, recipients must maintain a 2.0 GPA.

 You must meet the following criteria to be in contention for the bursary:

  • Selection of the recipient(s) will be based on the evaluation of the applicant(s)’s demonstration of financial need.
