Orientation to Palliative Care

This course will provide an overview of Palliative Care and coping with death and dying and grief. The focus is to provide you with a review of the concepts of Palliative Care, the multidisciplinary team, hospice, current approaches to care, roles, issues and expectations. The learner will be able to identify what resources are available and will be able to distinguish options of home care vs. institutional care. This course is offered through OntarioLearn by the host college, Durham college.
