Business Planning for the Trades - Microcredential

Business Planning for the Trades provides learners with the foundational knowledge to create a business plan for the successful operation and growth of their trades-business. Through this micro-credential, planning documents and strategies will be developed with each learner to assist in the construction of business goals, target audience(s), an analysis of market and competition, determining pricing and financial strategies, as well as outlining marketing and operational plans for start-up or growth. Each learner will complete this micro-credential with a draft designed to improve business function and brand recognition. Learning Outcomes: 1. Explain the purpose of each component of business planning 2. Apply strategies, research, and goals into each component of the business plan 3. Develop a comprehensive business plan intended to start or grow a small business in the trades Total class hours - 24
