Autocad for Design - Level 2 - Micro-credential

AutoCAD is one of the primary 2D design software packages used in the Interior Design and Decorating industry. This micro-credential is appropriate for working professionals and others who have an introductory level of knowledge in AutoCAD and wish to learn more by practicing their interior decorating/design skills. Learners will use the AutoCAD interface & tools to complete drawings, set up a drawing using basic layers, navigate drawing properties & page set up, add annotation to drawings with text, dimensions, leaders, tables, and notes and print basic drawings. Learners will enjoy practicing their skills in Fanshawe's labs with instructor support. Learning Outcomes: 1. Use the AutoCAD interface & tools to complete drawings. 2. Set up a drawing using basic layers. 3. Navigate drawing properties & page set up. 4. Add annotation to drawings with text, dimensions, leaders, tables, and notes. 5. Print basic drawings from AutoCAD. Total class hours - 20
