Introduction to Other Dementias - Micro-credential
Dementia is on the rise internationally as people are living longer. This micro-credential will provide learners with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to support people living with broad types of dementia. Learners will engage in quizzes, discussion, and case-based studies to understand Lewy Body Dementias, Frontal Temporal Dementias and Vascular Dementia. Upon completion of this micro-credential, learners will be able to: . Identify the onset, course, progression, cause, and symptoms of three types of dementia . Assess supportive therapies helpful to supporting a person with dementia Total class hours - 6
