Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) is a 12-hour course from the Mental Health Commission of Canada. Just as a physical aid is administered to an injured person, MHFA teaches you how to help someone showing signs of a mental health problem or experiencing a mental health crisis. It also provides an overview of common mental health problems, causes, symptoms, treatments and referrals. This course is designed for anyone who may come into contact with a person with a mental health problem.
