Overview
PARE Test
1 Test - Day, Evening and Weekend testing times available. The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) uses the Physical Abilities Requirement Evaluation (PARE) as a screening tool in the officer trainee (developmental) selection hiring process. Students must have a physician complete and sign the medical clearance form to ensure they are medically able to participate in the PARE. Once medical clearance is obtained, you may book a date for the test. You must bring the medical form to the PARE session. Applicants must successfully complete the PARE in 4:45 minutes or less as part of the CBSA officer trainee (developmental) selection process. If you are successful, CBSA will be provided with your results. Students will be provided with your original PARE results form, which you will be required to show as proof to the National Recruitment Team when requested to do so.
