Podcasting - Technical - Micro-credential

Podcast listening is a growing trend in Canada, and the emergence and data access across mobile devices has now made podcast consumption much easier to consume. This micro-credential will introduce the hardware and software elements needed for podcast creation, and will help the learner develop audio production skills through hands-on learning experiences. Learning Outcomes: 1. Identify the necessary gear for podcast production 2. Explain proper mic placement/usage for podcast recording 3. Demonstrate the ability to record and edit a short interview using proper audio editing techniques 4. Demonstrate the ability to create podcast imaging elements 5. Assemble a finished podcast Total class hours - 12
