RT Pharmacology Essentials - Micro-credential

This micro-credential will review the clinical indications, pharmacologic activity, route of administration, adverse side effects and therapeutic assessment of drugs that have a direct relationship with the cardiopulmonary system, as well as management of life-threatening cardiac events that align with current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) guidelines. The micro-credential will be delivered online, via Fanshawe Online platform Learning Outcomes: 1. Describe the indications, mechanism of action, route of administration and side effects for bronchodilators 2. Describe the indications, mechanism of action, routes of administration and side effects of diuretic agents 3. Describe the indications, mechanism of action, routes of administration and side effects of common therapeutic agents used for patients with cardiovascular disease Total class hours - 8 hours, virtual.
