Micro-credential Series Description
This micro-credential series provides learners with a unique approach to Dental Radiography and Quality Assurance and new developments with Safety Code 30. This micro-credential series also provides learners with an overview of Dental Digital Radiography and different techniques. Learners will be taught about changes within dentistry for Digital radiography as well as radiography landmarks, proper techniques, and angulations, panorex and occlusal techniques, and learn to identify errors and corrections. Learners can take this knowledge into day-to-day practice to better the healthcare received by the public. Learners will be given an assignment to help implement and navigate the theory content. This course is suitable to dental professionals (Dentists, Dental Hygienists, Dental Assistants, Dental office Receptionists, and the general public). This is not a HARP certification course, and no exposures of radiation will be done, and therefore any member of the public can take the course to learn more. Participants must be aware of and practice within their professions scope of practice.Courses
