Medical Concepts & Language 1

This course introduces the student to medical terminology and anatomy. An introduction to anatomy will provide a basic understanding and working knowledge of the human body. The history and composition of medical language will be explored. The importance of professional ethics, privacy and confidentiality will be highlighted throughout the course.
