What to do for New Years Eve in London 2024

Whether you want to celebrate everything that happened this year or celebrate the fact that it's over, there are many traditions and events you can enjoy in London, Ontario as the clock ticks past midnight. Don’t wait till the last minute to make your New Year's Eve plan. Here’s a list of what’s happening in London for NYE! 

Bundle up and head to Victoria Park

Enjoy free transit, hot chocolate, skating, and live music performances at New Year’s Eve in the Park. Head to the beautiful downtown park and see a fireworks display at the stroke of midnight. If you want to get the kids (or yourself) to bed in good time, the early fireworks display is at 9:00 p.m.

Celebrate early and go to bed

The Factory is hosting the NYE Balloon Drop, with activities for the whole family. You'll have the option of enjoying the balloon drop from the viewing deck, the trampolines (for those six and up) or the bubble event (for those under six). The best part? The countdown ends and the balloons drop at 8 p.m. so everyone can get a full night's rest.

Go dancing and get some grub

The Palasad Social Bowl is hosting New Year's Eve with Newport Electric. Your $30 pre-sale ticket includes an arcade card, champagne toast, favours and a midnight breakfast, all to the tune of live music by Newport Electric.

Get your game on

If your ideal New Year's Eve includes video games, ping pong or virtual reality, check out The Rec Room's Countdown to 2025. Doors open at 9:00 p.m., and your $25 ticket gets you two hours of games, live entertainment, a midnight toast and party favours, or get a VIP ticket for $80 to get 365 gaming credits, dinner, a midnight toast and party favours.
